Fraser Forster has played most of last season for Celtic and showing great form, calm, commands his area and able to distribute the ball intelligently, not just kicking up field, often in front of large crowds. I know Rangers won the league, but Forster was class.

Smithies may not have the right temperment for Leeds whereas FF is used to big crowds and atmosphere
Both he and Larry have said that he's been brought in to "challenge within the squad", which pretty much means he's backup.

After playing for massive clubs like Stockport and Bristol Rovers, is he really going to want to play in front of an empty stadium @ Leeds? I think not. He'll join 1p5wich on loan again, bigger club than Leeds (2x European trophies).
Alex Smithies is by far the best man there, but he'll surely move to a premier league club or a top league club elsewhere in the world?

2 of those have made basic errors to gift us goals in the past (Forster and Kuszack), one of those is a tubby bastard who's only redeming feature is he covers most of the goal (Brown), one of those I've heard is just terrible (Kirkland) so the only options left are Smithies and Grant. Having been to a few Town matches the concensus is that Bennett is better than Smithies anyway. I can't really remember that much, I don't really focus on the players just go to watch the football.
