What's the N606 verdict on the wee man ? I've known him since he was a wee boy and he was always going to make it. I was delighted when we signed him but to be honest he hasn't really set the world on fire. We all know he has huge ability but there's just something not quite right. A front 3 of an on-form Boyd, Miller and Templeton would be a real handful for any defence in Scotland - and I mean ANY !!! I fully expect them to rip that league to shreds when the season gets underway. Discuss.
People forget about Templeton as he has missed a bit of the last couple of seasons due to injury. He's the signing I was most excited by when we bought him a couple of seasons ago. I agree with you he's a smashing wee player, but hasn't delivered consistently. When he's been on form though he has been another class. The lower leagues obviously don't suit his style of play. He's probably the most naturally gifted player we have. I think the signing of Miller and the fact we are playing better sides will bring out the best in wee Temps.
The **** lives in ma auld street now! I move out, he moves in!! He's renting or bought the house off of the Celtic physio, make of that what you will.
Kenny Miller has already ripped Celtic a new one on numerous occasions and wee temp pissed all over Izzaqueery at Tynecastle. And Kris Boyd's a different animal from the huffy bastard he was four years ago. The Celtic defence are there for the taking as Morton and Aberdeen fans will testify....
Aye the Celtic defence will be quivering in fear when they face up to the pace of Boyd and Miller and the trickery of a player who's done hee haw in his two seasons at Ibrox.
Against a 36 year old has been, an overweight poacher who's scored a solitary goal against Celtic in how many games, and a player who's been out of his depth in the paddling pool of the 2nd and 3rd tiers of Scottish football. Aye, be afraid Timmy indeed.
who will be putting it on a plate for boyd like he needs it? who will be making sure millers knees and ankles are well oiled before the match? who is templeton? who am I? why are we here?
And by the way, Miller and Boyd in the same team against Celtic? It'll be one or t'other I suspect, I doubt Sally would be so bold as to play two up front (or one and a half in reality) against Celtic.
