No. Wood and Balcombe had a last wicket stand of 160 a couple of years ago!

    Looks great!

Are you not worried that the lead roofing (I presume it's that soft lead stuff?) will be an easy target for those scallies who go around stealing it, seeing as it's on the ground floor? You are always hearing of churches etc being robbed of it.

Are there no alternatives to use these days though? I have always wondered that. When you do read stories of churches being screwed over, they always seem to mention how expensive it will be to replace what the thieves took, and then they just replace it like for like! Surely in this day and age, another material could be used no?

Also, the bloody camera loving wheelie bin, will only serve as an accomplice <laugh>

Always wonder how things like wheelie bins are never there when you take the picture, but then photobomb you.

I'm not yet 30 and things like Twitter scare me! Mind you, my brothers girlfriends gran (no, this isn't a transfer rumour!) uses an ipad and she is over 80! I tried to get something up on a friends ipad only the other day and I had no idea as to what I was doing!!

I need to get with the times, man!

Glorious news! I hope it's true, and that he sells not many more than that.

My 90 year-old grandfather often emails me from his iPad. I have no idea how to use one.

Amazing! The technological advances he will have seen, have been the craziest do date. Not that I think I will make 90, but I'm pretty sure I won't be using the equivalent of an iPad at that age. However I like to think I will be using whatever version of the Playstation is out :D

I'm also pleased that there is at least one other person who doesn't know how to use an iPad!

I was trying to view this forum on my daughter's iPad. Took me a while, but I figured out the browser is called "Safari".

Mainly because I avoid Apple. Dunno how to use an iPhone either.

I have more than a hunch that technology when we're 90 will include some pretty serious stuff that will have greatly altered our species and changed our society a lot more drastically than people think. I think you'll make it to 90 and far beyond it. The equivalent of an iPad in that time will be augmented reality. It'll be part of you. Consumer economies will probably be outdated by then as well. I think we're seeing the beginning of the end of that now.

Same. Don't like the iPhones. Would be open to getting an iPad though.

I avoid Apple products too, the only thing I own is an iPod from around 2008 I think it is!

Yeah, I think it's exciting but also very scary to think about what things will be like further down the line. At least I won't have to worry about how to use an iPad though :). Have you played the game Deus Ex: Human Revolution?
