TOM Ince is on the verge of being announced as Hull City player.

The winger is understood to have agreed terms on Humberside and it's just a matter of time before it's confirmed.

Ince spent the end of last season on loan at Crystal Palace, and despite Tony Pulis' wish to sign him permanently, the 22-year-old decided to explore other offers.

Ince officially became a free agent last Tuesday after his previous contract at parent club Blackpool expired.

However, Eagles co-chairman Steve Parish says any chance of a permanent move to Selhurst Park looks to have gone.

He told the Advertiser: "I think they (Ince and his representatives) decided to move on.

"The player has probably decided to move on and it looks like they're going to go somewhere else.

"There had been some discussions but that one is going away from us."

Looks like our bid for Robertson will be at least 2.5 mill then add-ons and perhaps as much as 3 mill upfront.

Seems a bit steep for someone who only plays in a pub league. Maybe seeing that we maybe paid slightly over on other transfers to get done early and are trying it on to see if they can push us. As someone else has suggested, Beausejour is available on a free and maybe worth a punt to save a bit of Wonga!!!

If Carpet says its a done deal, then can I be the 1st to welcome Tom Ince to the City

BTW there is a house for sale not far from yours truly on Sutton Road....£80k and its yours..
Theres even a three piece suite in the garden...

Looks like he has signed.

We understand #hcafc have agreed the signing of Tom Ince from Blackpool. The player is believed to have agreed terms. Fee to be decided.

Issues with his agent(dad). The touring around, like a gameshow before he decides which club to pick etc etc.

Off the field problems basically. On the field, promising.

1. All agents are twats.

2. He's perfectly entitled to listen to as many job offers as he so pleases.

Ah OK , As of right now , is there any real evidence of an Ince Family roadshow though ?

The Stoke thing was just gossip on a forum that snowballed , and the fist shaking on here was pretty much born from the same factless "news"

Are the club likely to announce it soon or will they wait until after the tribunal? Be useful if they could announce it today/tomorrow ready for when the squad comes back to training on Wednesday.

Aren't the players supposed to be doing their fitness tests today? Just bought tickets for ferriby from the office and they said ince was at cott.

Cristian Gamboa, who I think played for Costa Rica at this world cup, is linked with us.

Also... apparently Arsenal are offering Ahmed Fathi a trial. Not quite sure I believe this but it's on this blokes twitter https://twitter.com/egyKF

We are delighted to confirm Tom Ince as our third major signing of the summer #UTT

Still not using our actual hashtag, sadly.
