Brazil v Germany 1 - 2 (aet)
Wednesday 9th July 2014
Netherlands v Argentina 2 - 1 (aet)
These are really tough to call!
And it seems strange going for the two European teams
bandit rather than the South Americans (
).
But I have a hunch the Brazilian bubble will burst; and I think Argentina are lucky to be there.
(Just like my hunch that it would be a Colombia vs Belgium final, eh?)
And I have no time to do a song. Sorry. Under pressure.
(hmmm - that might have been worth a try......!!)
I'll try to come up with something for the weekend (as my barber used to say).

But I didn't quite foresee the scale of the explosion/implosion.
ps maybe they should have picked Gomes?
I'm guessing Ian Darke wrongly announcing the Argentina goal which would have made my 1-0 prediction perfect in the 80 somethingth minute will make no impression on the judges either.
