Just seen this on the Skysports website:

10:18

Leroy Fer has confirmed he is not thinking about leaving Norwich City following the club’s relegation from the Premier League. The Holland international midfielder is currently away on World Cup duty.
Whatever happens here in Brazil, I am a Norwich player. I am contracted to them for the next three years so my commitment is to them.

Hope he brings back his goalscoring talents from the world cup into the championship next season and tears the opposing championship midfield apart

Did you realise he is statistically the greatest ever player at a World Cup?

Fair play to him, I hope we can keep the wolves at bay.

I think selling Snodgrass eases us maybe having to sell other players. I think Fer would be one of the best players in the Championship , keeping him would be a huge coup. Him staying might be good for his career as well, a season where he has a chance to really excel.

Well, as long as he sees it like that we shouldn't have too much to worry about <ok>

I think it'll be good for him. He does lack consistency at times, I just think a good, strong and consistent season will enhance his development. Maybe I'm wrong, but like you say only as long as he is committed.

If we can hold onto as many players as possible and get in some creative reinforcements then I'll be a lot more happier about next season, still not very confident about the man we have in charge but it's too late to change anything now.

The two players I'm concerned about the most are Olsson and Hooper.

Fair comment northants - I'm not convinced that Olsson will be at CR on 1st Sep. <ok>

I was lucky enough to watch the '66 World Cup, just as well, I can't see England winning it again any time soon!
I was drunk on a beach on the island of Labuan off the coast of Borneo. I remember the full time score, but 8 hours of drinking made me, and most of my fellow RAG friends mis the extra time. The name of the beach was Surrender Point.
