To be honest I wasn't aware of the guy prior to our interest. But we are desperate for goals from midfield so he's worth a shot.
Goals... Simple. With Bent out we need goals from wherever we can, to be honest I'm suprised Turner hasnt scored more from defence etc. The only true goalscorers we have are Gyan and Sess will be in that mould next season... We need more.
Find that a strange question. He offers us exactly what Henderson did but also with goals. I'm not complaining.
As long as it dosn't mean we have given up on the N'Zog. Larrson and Gardiner will do a job for us but Brucie boy needs at least one so called big name signing or the fans will turn.

Last season we failed to get good balls into the box. Now we have Laarson I expect Turner will be a greater threat at set pieces and get a few goals.
Messi? he's about 2 foot tall, wouldn't get win any headers. So no use in the box when we get a corner and if the ball beats the first man.
No it wasn't intended as a negative post just wondering what qualities he has apart from scoring goals. Is he a good passer or a decent tackler?
A goal requires the ball to move in a forward direction so on that basis alone he offers more than our midfield combined did last year.
