David McIntyre reports on his West London Sports site that the club are in talks with Ajax over a possible deal for the Dutch club’s Icelandic striker Kolbeinn Sigþórsson.

Asides being a doppelgänger for Olympian Chris Hoy; he has an impressive record of a goal every two matches, an international pedigree, and is under 25.
 
Almost one goal every two games. I think he would be a good signing for us.
 
Too young for us and not on a high enough wage....

Does anyone know kind of a player he is, poaching, speedy, holding ?
 
It is reported 19 minutes ago that we are still holding talks. I've seen video, and this guy knows where the net is!
 
If we're mostly going to play one up front, then this could be the last piece of business for the strikers. Charlie, Remy and the Ice Man, with Zamora as back up would give us a decent amount of options/cover/game changers for the season.

I think we still need hooper or one other poacher type. Two competing for target man, two competing for poacher and Zamora.
 
Hope we get him, after missing out on caulker. Rio signing won't be too bad if we can get rid of Dunne. We still need and young fast cb.
