We'll all have to get one of them when we meet up next year to celebrate our title winning season! <whistle>

'Tis a bad one.

One of the (very few) advantages of being a tiny bit older is that you've seen a lot of things come and go and you know it's not the end of the world.
There'll be another bus along in a bit, so:
Get a grip, you miserable ****ers!

That bus will not be as good as Suarez though, it just wont have the bite to it <whistle>

quite possibly <laugh>, i havent been for 13 odd years, when it was still dutch guilders lol, so didn't know if it was true or not.

might be some new form of people transport over there though(just exaggerated with basket), i know it used to be quite heavy on cyclists when i was there, maybe its more modernized and this type of thing that runs you around on batteries type thing is the new craze.

Nobody doubts the level of his talent - not even the Plastics. BUT he does have high risk attached to him.

He is after all merely a player. If the club can make money on their investment then it's now time to do so. We wouldn't be talking to Barca if our owners/manager did not agree that it would be in the club's best interest. I've enjoyed seeing him play in a LFC shirt. But he's not the best player that I've ever seen at Anfield and I'm confident that his leaving does not spell the end of the clubs progression.

So, if Barca want him then come and negotiate until an acceptable conclusion is reached. If they don't then we'll keep him but we'll never again offer the same level of support or trust.

Lets hope not!

Let see who we bring in with his money

I was tired of hearing his name this time last year to be honest. It's suppose to be Liverpool Football Club and it's turned into the Suarez club at least in terms of media and conversations with opposition fans, in short it became a dull subject when it should have been an exciting one with the level of his ability. We tried to accept him as "our Bastard" except he wasn't, he was more of a Bastard to us than anyone else.

We had one of our best years in a long time league wise and while his brilliance was a big part of that it was also down to a young talented burgeoning squad and manager....I don't know, maybe the focus on S saved it from being on the rest of the players and they could get on with it.

I will miss his moments of brilliance but I won't miss him and I'm certain at the end of my life he'll not be my outstanding memory of my club.

True Frank

Also you have to think that if we got to a final or something in a big pressured game we dont want to go into it have a niggling feeling of what he might do

At times, FIFA have seemed to be making things up as they go along when it comes to Luis Suarez' nine-match international and four-month blanket ban from all football-related activities. Yesterday, FIFA disciplinary committee head Claudio Sulser confirmed that Suarez could be transferred, could undergo a medical, and could sign a contract for a new club.

He couldn't be presented by that new club once he had signed for them, couldn't enter their stadium, and couldn't be used in marking material or appear in team photos. But he could complete a transfer. There was also the suggestion that despite earlier reports to the contrary, he could train while banned, no matter if he was a Liverpool or Barcelona player.

Only today FIFA have dialled that back. They can't stop the player from training on his own—FIFA's reach may be wide, but they can't control what Suarez or any other player does on his free time. However, Suarez will still not be allowed to train with his teammates at club facilities. He can train, then; he just has to do it away from teammates and without club involvement.

"This was inaccurate," said a FIFA spokesman responding to reports that Sulser had suggested Suarez could train with his teammates. "Claudio Sulser just said that he could do the medical testing for a transfer but clearly said, as many times earlier, that he cannot do any football activity which includes that he cannot train with the national team nor club."

FIFA will likely have a new detail of Suarez' ban to sort through tomorrow. Until then, talks between Liverpool and Barcelona over his transfer remain ongoing, with Liverpool seeking a fee in line with his full buyout—though that they would allow to be paid in instalments—and Barcelona hoping to secure a bite discount for the player Luis Enrique covets.
