But Ged overseas the u21 & u18 and is responsible for the dozen of young players brought in this year, exotic players come from as far away as Ireland! What happened to us widening our development network? It just hasn't happened, this years intake reads similar to what we taking in 5 years ago.
Spot on, kids are not born professional footballers, they are born with a talent that needs to be recognised, encouraged, nurtured then developed into the finished article. For some reason Southampton, Ipswich, Burnley Middlesbrough, and Crewe get it right and we need to look at their set up.
