City are apparrently preparing to make an increased bid to Bristol , I hope that they do it fast because Florist are also sniffing around, I hope that we can get him because if he can stay injury free I think he will score a hatfull next season.:emoticon-0100-smile:emoticon-0100-smile

We are probaly going to wait until Maynard returns from his hoilday and decides what he wants to do. That way the price tag wont be as high.

And i cant see Forest paying 4M for him or anyone

You are probably right Proud_Fox, I would really like to see the likes of Maynard in the Walkers Stadium though.

Something tells me we really are determined to get this guy, and I for one am all for it. 24 quick, skilful and a goalscorer, with potential to play at higher level. I really hope we get him, and can see us raising the bar over the next few days. I also think St Ledger would be good at the back, glad we are in for him.

He's to good for your mob and your city is a **** hole. Delusions of grandeur me thinks.

I think you are the deluded one if you think a Bristol City player is too good for us. Have you ever played in the prem? If we offer the money and offer him the contract he wants we will sign him, simple as that. We have ambition. If your chairman is worth so much as you keep telling us then how come you are not spending any money? Offer him a good contract and show ambition or else you will lose him.

Prediction

Maynard is sold, Old goalkeeper retires and they are relegated.

If they are serious and their chairman has money then offer a contract that shows this and stops transfers of your best players out of the club, no doubt Bristol is a big city but, who are the bigger team? Rovers? talk talk talk! It is time to Walk the walk! Coppell obviously decided that the club does not have enough ambition?
