We all knew that the match at our place would be moved to the Sunday, but a mid-day kick-off? Ridiculous time!

I read somewhere that there's also no trains running that day between Norwich and Ipswich due to works on the Railways <yikes>

So how will the famous 'Yella Army' be coming to Portman Rd? I'd say that a couple of taxi's and a skateboard would suffice. ;)

Have any of you lot got plans for being there on the day? (I know that Crowey has)

A word of warning to all those travelling over the border - don't forget your inoculations! <ok>

Taken from the TWTD Site:

“ITFC 1st believe that, as the majority of supporters of both ITFC and NCFC are amongst the most law-abiding and peaceful of all football fans in England (supported by recent Home Office figures for both arrests and banning orders), the police and football club should seek to target known offenders rather than treat all fans as potential troublemakers in ways that raise tension and therefore could increase the risk of clashes.”

Exactly, and yet the Norfolk OB feel that they can adequately police the return at the Carrot Patch on a Saturday afternoon. As it is, I'll have to go over to Ipswich on the Saturday evening and stay with family in order to allow me time on the Sunday morning to drink copious amounts of alcohol before the match.

i know there was lots of trouble at the last game at the portaloo (being a thursday evening was a great idea <doh>) but not too sure why the carrow road game is ok to kick off on a saturday at the odd time of 2pm when the portaloo game is deemed higher risk and has to be sunday noon. all seems strange to me but that's the police for you...

It's a tick box game with the reforms to the police though, isn't it. You've hit the nail on the head with the last game - that's all they're assessing it on, without any thought beyond that. This is what happens when you cut funding to the police and increase bureaucracy - they do a tick box exercise on each scenario without actually thinking about the merits

What do they mean moved? It was Saturday in the first place anyway.

Sunday is my birthday, and I have no wish to spend it in that God forsaken place.
