Kranjcar & Morrison going back to their parent clubs doesn't necessarily mean we won't put a bid in for them at a later date?
I thought they said the other day that Ali had signed a new contract? Or was that just confirmation that they'd offered him one?
I never rated Ephraim, he'll do well in the lower leagues and I wish him well with that, but PL he ain't.
MK Dons: Tom Hitchcock joins on three-year deal after leaving QPR MK Dons have signed striker Tom Hitchcock on a three-year deal following his release by QPR. The 21-year-old netted five times in 11 games during a loan spell at League One play-off winners Rotherham last season, including a hat-trick after coming off the bench in a 4-3 win over Gillingham. He also had a stint at Crewe and scored three goals in six appearances. "Tom is somebody who I spoke to over the summer and he intrigued me," said MK boss Karl Robinson. "There are a number of strikers that we have looked at, but the thing about Tom is, he's a natural goalscorer and the types of goals he scores are unique. "He fits into the mould of player we're trying to sign - he's hungry, he's enthusiastic and he's a very talented individual." Hitchcock started his career at Blackburn and is the son of former Chelsea and Watford keeper Kevin Hitchcock. He joined QPR in 2012, scoring once in two substitute appearances, and also went out on loan to Bristol Rovers in the 2012-13 campaign. "I'm buzzing and I can't wait to get started. It's exciting times for me," he said. "There were a few clubs interested but as soon as I knew MK Dons were in for me there was no other choice. "I've played against them before and the football the team play is really attractive and will suit me will." http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28116197 Good luck Tom
Personally I hope Obz gets another year. The new fit model will prove a handful for prem lge centre backs, esp at Loftus Rd. He finished the season in great form, bullying defences when he came on, esp Wigan in the semi final. Not starting but sprung from the bench when needed, like a caged animal. Oh Bobby Zamora...........
One last time.....Bloody Luke Young. I sincerely hope no one inherits the title. Good luck Tom Hitchcock.
Perhaps, but on a sensible one year contract - HH was able to hold his own that first season in the PL.
That calls for a reprise:-
In all of these discussions we have the upper hand now. All are players that can be replaced with alternatives. So negotiations with a difference - nice to see the cards stacked in our favour for once!
Also, he came good after he had surgery and sorted out his long term injury. He might have a better season next than he has done since joining us.
BAck to the OP Were are Granero, Adel and Mbai then? No matter what each of us thinks of them, they represent a signifcant amount of cash for our club.? Any news on them?
read again, it said mbia has been released as his contract has expired. Granero and adel are still under contract so unless someone buys them they'll be returning to the club for pre-season training.
