No need for that response, it wasn't really obvious to me why a Binner was posting this on our forum either, so a valid question and tone

It was the fact that lambo (your former manager) and keane (our former manager) was joining forces. so it was a topic that we could all talk about. what wasn't appriciated (sic) was the tone, If dave didn't want to talk about then so be it, but no need to post about it. I bet if it was posted by one of your lot, you wouldn't have shut him up on the subject. but hey ho, thats my take and i ain't prepared to get in an argument about it.
i've been very disappointed by lambert since he left norwich and i think he's been found out a little. when you consider he and rodgers when at swansea were deemed 'evenly matched' in terms of ability - its scary how differently their paths have trodden and as i said at the time, at villa you are always onto a downer. it worked brilliantly at norwich for so many reasons - the timing was perfect as the club was at its lowest ebb ever, the football became exciting and vibrant thanks to the league we found ourselves in and it all just clicked from there thanks to, admittedly, some astute signings combined with some quality already at the club (holt/hoolahan) but i did think he'd have done a better job than he has at villa. i'm very surprised he's still there to be honest and i can't see the introduction of roy keane being anything other than a disaster but we shall see...
can't quite understand the arguing. the thread is relevant, albeit old news - this has been in the pipeline for ages. i assume its just been confirmed today?
