And despite all of this he's never been sent off for Liverpool. Ridiculous. What the **** is his problem with Scott Parker, anyway? Should've had a red on at least three occasions for things he's done to him alone.
The important thing in that clip is the several occasions where directly after committing the act, Suarez then feigns injury immediately after. That is the sign of cognitive processing, and not this uncontrollable "red mist" folklore being built up around the biting. He does have psychological problems. The notable one being that he is a c**t who is deluded enough to think he should always get his own way.
Luis Suarez has finally said sorry over his World Cup bite shame - under orders from Barcelona, who are planning to offer the 27-year-old Uruguay striker a five-year deal worth £160,000-a-week. If true, it certainly says a lot that a club he doesn't play for can get him to apologise for biting an opponent, yet the club he currently plays for spends several weeks making excuses for him racially abusing a fellow professional.
Maybe because they don't think he did... Really wish they'd gone to court and had it thrown out like Terry did.
Looks like I have to once again direct people's attention to the summing-up, which isn't a surprise given Chelsea fans have been loudly and obnoxiously pretending it didn't begin with the quote "There is no doubt that John Terry uttered the words '****ing black ****' at Anton Ferdinand." It's all here: http://www.theguardian.com/football/2012/jul/13/john-terry-acquittal-magistrate Add to that the not inconsiderable fact The FA found Terry guilty and slapped him with a ban, which of course is loudly and obnoxiously ignored. You know who else doesn't believe they've done anything wrong? Oscar Pistorius - and that belief is working out so, so well for him right now...
Like RDBD, I don't buy this red mist excuse. Or the one about not thinking they have done anything wrong. In my book Suarez, Terry, and probably Pistorius are nasty twats who either believe, think, or hope that they can talk their way out of what they've done. And probably arrogant enough to think that they will be believed too.
Barca's Sporting Director has welcomed Suarez's apology, adding that he "has the necessary quality to play for Barca". That's not in any way suspicious, is it?
i take no credit for this: 20 Nov 2010- bites Otman Bakkal 28 Jan 2011- while suspended, Ajax transfer him to Liverpool 21 April 2013- bites Branislav Ivanovic 31 May 2013- while suspended says he will leave Liverpool 6 Aug 2013- while suspended, potential move to Arsenal falls through 24 June 2014- bites Giorgio Chiellini 30 June 2014- while suspended, apologizes without informing Liverpool to facilitate a transfer to Barcelona For the sake of all his opponents, Liverpool had better let him go, otherwise come next November or April he is likely to literately take a pound of flesh to assert his transfer intentions.
Makes me laugh how Barca are being so underhanded. All they have to do is pay the cash and he xan go where he likes. (Outside prem)
They don't want to pay though. They want to disrupt him so he forces a transfer and it lowers the fee. They clearly didn't learn that this doesn't work that great from Real/Bale last summer. Bleed 'em dry i say
Unsettling Suarez is real easy for La Liga suitors. He is not Bale. And similarly unlike in that he is not a sponsors dream nor missing the first N months of a season. Barca will be Care Bears by comparison to what Spurs endured in summer 2013.
That's just how Barca and Real do things. They target a player, have a word with his agent, their respective media outlets talk up the deal and they all try to undermine the player's club. They're hoping that he'll put in a transfer request, go on strike and badmouth his employer, lowering the asking price.
They pay the release clause or they dont get him. Its win win for us. Hope yhey pay though. I love him as a player but ive had my fill
"They pay the release clause" In ineffective terms (to the seller) . Not accepting those terms is where the unsettling comes in.
They can be as unsettling as they like. He is on a five year contract and has a mentaluty that means he will always give of his best on tge pitch. Striking isnt an option for luis
Yeah, we thought that about Bale and Modric. Given that Suarez will be sitting on his arse for a few months anyway, he's got less to lose, too. Hey, you may be right and he might be an exception, but I get the feeling that they've probably sorted things out with the player already. ****ty behaviour, but that's just how they do things.
