Nobody is saying that your squad can't compete. If they couldn't, they wouldn't have convincingly won promotion. The only problem is with AKCJs' delusional views on the strength of your squad and the strength of the premier league. Unless he's suddenly started supporting Manchester City...

Why has this post degenerated into a discussion about Leicester. I couldn't give a flying **** about Leicester, apart from sincerely hoping that we hammer them both home and away, which if they seriously don't get some new players in we will.

Rather a strange assumption, clearly not something you have thought through or learnt anything from either.

As you haven't been in the PL for 10 years, is there a second team you support you haven't told us about?

You clearly haven't seen more live PL games, unless you have been unfaithful to your Leicester City. Anything you would like to share with us Andy? Who do you really support?

    idiot.

Snodgrass means "Smooth Grassy Place" in Scots Gaelic.

The family name Snodgrass is said to originate from lands in the parish of Irvine, Ayrshire, known as Snodgrasse, or Snodgers, at a bend in the River Garnock at 55º 38' north, 4º 42' west, which were rented out in plots. Both forms are recorded in Ayrshire and in Glasgow between the 13th and 16th centuries. In 1528 a charter from the King lists the lands of 'Snotgerss' as being one of the confirmed possessions of Hugh, third Earl of Eglinton;[1] the next record seen of the name is in the late 17th century.

    Snodgers.

That surely has to be his given nickname should he sign for us.

I've posted what I think about Snodgers and what I think he'll bring to the table, damn you Brownie, but what I really wanted to discuss on a Snodgers thread was Leicester's striking options up front. I think we all did really.

Anyway I'm just glad AKCJ could see our predicament and steer the thread away from its given topic onto a far more interesting and Leicester based one.

    Thanks AKCJ.

    You're the greatest.

    Snotarse

He's a wildling from north of the wall. He should not be treated civilly.

Rather than continuing this rather pointless debate, I suggest we wait until August, see who you sign and then watch you play to see if you look good enough.

It seems Bruce was very keen, very keen indeed...

Snodgrass said: "I would love to say it just took one chat but it must have been about 10.

"I've spoken to the manager more than I've spoken to my wife over the last few days.

"That's exactly what you want. He's got fresh ideas for this season and he wanted me to be a part of that.

"The big thing for me was the way the club wanted me and pushed to get me through the door. That's hard to come by in football."

Snodgrass, who had one year left on his contract at Carrow Road, was voted player of the season last term but could not save them from the drop.

He said: "Getting relegated was hard to take. I knew of Hull's interest and a few others.

"After speaking to a few people, I knew this was the place I wanted to be. I'm buying into the way the club are going forward."

    That's one for Danny Baker.

But what has any of this got to do with Leicester?

He was obviously destined to be a footballer then, plying his trade on a "smooth grassy place"

Why would a fan of a club go and watch another team just for the sake of it?

I think we can assume a certain Mr Bruce is going nowhere and will in fact be signing up again for a while yet with the business he is doing for us.

Jelavic and Long are far far superior to anything you have to offer up front. Add our other strikers you mention, that makes our strike force approximately 75 million times better than yours. (rough estimate)
