Oh don't worry, I was rocking in my chair until the first one came out, but this time I'm going to wait for videos of it being played.....fully and not just a few laps by himself. I have my money in my wallet ready, I'm just going to be careful this time.
Nope. Always played forza from the first one onwards. Physics simulation is immense as is the almost unlimited ability to upgrade the car and set it up for different tracks. I may end up getting it as a present but I have limited gaming time and only concentrate on completing a few games the best I can. Next years games for me will be MW3 and Forza 4
I'm hopefully getting the PS Vita, and it's been announced that it'll be available on that, so thats what I'll be getting as I don't have a current-gen console. Codemasters have said the game has undergone quite a thorough overhaul. Apparently they had updated the roster within 3 weeks of the season starting, so most of the work has gone elsewhere. The engineer is now supposed to give you much more useful information, the career mode is supposed to be much more immersive, with things like Parc Ferme, etc included. (By that, I don't know whether you actually get to drive in after a race/session and do the whole celebration thing or not, or whether its a cut scene, but it's there. The new weather system looks good, they've added clouds which are supposed to make predicting rain from the seat much more realistic. You'll actually see the sky darken, and get cloudier, and then sometimes get thunderstorms, and sometimes it'll only be a little rain, which should be interesting. The cars are meant to handle more realistically, so that they don't spin off on curbs, etc, and set-up is more important. The safety car will be interesting, if it is used, I'd hope they have crashes between AI drivers which sometimes need safety car, but not always, and maybe red flags would be good too? Overall I'm really looking forward to it. Aside from this, shouldn't this be merged with the F1 Gaming Thread?
I like F12010, sure it is not without its faults but it is Codemasters first attempt, it is not like FIFA where EA Sports have had loads of previous iterations to build and improve upon. I have also not really had any of the bugs other people have complained about.
yeah f1 2010 is awesome playing online and with 11 serious competitors is a hearty pumping experience going into the first corner although most of the time its ends with a massive collision
Hey guys, Thought this'd be a good place to ask this question. I've never owned a steering wheel before but I did once try one on my mates PS3 which was great fun. I want to know what steering wheel is the best on Xbox 360 for F1 2010 - it'd also be useful to me if it was compatible with other racing games such as GRID but not essential. I'd like one with force feed back. Also best places to buy them? Thanks in advance!
Well, what Ive heard is that the Xbox only has one wheel, which is the official Microsoft wheel. If you asked for a PS3 one then I would say the DFGT
Hey Fred, I've heard that's the best one too but I wonder does it have force feed back and why is it so expensive. There are lots of wheels out there surely there is one cheaper which is of equal quality?
Use the controller, can't get any better sensitivity than that. Easy to correct drifts quicker using it also.
PoS, I use a MadCatz MC2 wheel on my 360 when I play F1 2010. It's very small compared to others and it doesn't have force-feedback but I get on with it really well. I can't remember how much I paid for it but it's a damn sight cheaper than other stuff on the market.
Approaching the end of a season on F1 2010, currently at Williams and I will probably only have time for one more season before F1 2011 comes out, I have got a contract offer from both Mclaren and Ferrari, who shall I go to? Tricky decision.
