Whoops, got the headline slightly wrong due to trying to read an Italian Paper ! Anyway someone signed them apparently !! Two players who i would be happy to see at Chelsea.

Shaw maybe, as a prospect, but not at the price United paid.
Llallana we have far superior in our squad already so no.......and he was also overpriced.

Lallana is an excellent player IMO but is a huge risk at that money at 26. I'm not sure they'd have spent that much on a midfielder had they known Suarez would be out for four months.

If you ignore Shaw's reported wages I think it will turn out to be a great buy. The kid, and he really is a kid, does seem to have it all and is quite experience already for a player of his age. I'm sure Chelsea were keen and he'd have preferred Chelsea being a fan but it's very understandable if the reported wages are correct.

Shaw a talented player. But far too expensive, even if he turns out to be next Maldini

Llallana: we already have Willian, hazard, Schurrle, Fabregas, Oscar, piazon, etc who can play in his position

Any news on Lukaku returning next season ? Read somewhere he wants to leave but apart from that haven't really heard anything

Hes a real mystery man, various reports have him coming and going at the same time. Just have to wait and see. Where do you stand?? Id like him to stay, hes a big strong sod, and we had success with that type before. All he needs is a good kick up the arse from Jose and we might have a gem.

he's got something special imo, really quick for his height. seems to be a good all rounded striker but with costa coming in I don't think he'll be at the club much longer. it is a shame though as he's never been given a proper chance

Neither are good enough for our starting line. I have not seen anyhting from Shaw to impress me more than even Bertrand and whereas I am a big fan of Lallana, not over Oscar or Hazard. Happy for other teams to over pay. <ok>

Both players are prime examples of overrated and over priced English players. The main reason for so many average foriegn players in th PL.

Shaw could be a very good prospect. Not sure why Liverpool need Lallana at his age & fee.

I always thought with proper nurturing - he can go on and surpass Drog or atleast match Drog - given his age and our position.

He looked to have a good head on his shoulders - not so long ago.
Not sure from where the kid gets his petulance from - now.

Don't think Jose likes his attitude

how can anyone like this kid's current attitude?

Oh the irony <whistle>

Couple of benefits in that they obviously speak English so make understanding instructions easier and are used to Premiership but the English tax has always added £5m-£10m to players. You also have to take into consideration that you're selling to a rival in most cases as nearly all English players transfer from 1 English club to another so they're always going to cost a bit more.

Just have to think would foreign clubs pay the kind of money that Downing/Carroll/Lallana/SWP/Shaw/Young were all brought for?

Hey, it is a nice change. <ok>

Well you have just paid £32m for Diego "outscored by Torres at the WC" Costa and similar to Cesc "not even wanted by Arsenal" Fabregas <whistle>

Didn't Jose get the memo, it's all about the Germans & Belgians now, Spanish players were so 2008-2012 <whistle>
