I'm looking forwards to this match, it has the potential to be a cracker.

Congratulations to Dirk Kuyt on his 100th cap for the Dutch.

 

Could be closer than most think, the heat will be the biggest factor so that favours Mexico but I think the Dutch will just edge it...

Looking forward to good match - I'm just in from my completing chores on a very hot 31 deg C day.

As I generally do, as a neutral, I'm rooting for the underdog, Mexico.

I've taken a vacation day tomorrow and July 1st (Canada Day) is a statutory holiday, so will be able to watch all the quarter-final games without work interruptions.

Both countries are looking threatening going forwards, so far so good.

 

The mexican commentators just said the Mexican goalie "made a Gordan Banks type save" from Neymer(sp) when playing Brazi.

Dutch seem to be playing a bit cagey here, Mexico seem to have more threat...

 

In Qatar they're going to need cooling breaks every 5 minutes.

 

I think the heat is dictating the Dutch tactics. They realize they need to last the whole game so are trying to not go crazy early.

 

Its about hip height or maybe just a bit above.

It was not careless, reckless or had excessive force either.

Also how is that fat Mexican manager not sweating, he still has his jacket on!

 

I'm out in Qatar mid July. The guys i'm meeting with tell me its about 105°F or above most days whilst i'm there

 

This game is terrible and its only 32c, imagine every game over 40c in Qatar.

It would be far, far slower than this.

That's a penalty but karma for being a cheating diving git in the past robben.
