Some more great bands from the early 70s... The brilliant Tony McPhee with his Groundhogs, I saw him live at the Half Moon Herne Hill a few years back still a great talent... Wishbone Ash in 1971 with the brilliant 'Jailbait'... One of the great rock voices, Paul Rodgers with Bad Company... Still a great song...

Thanks to everyone for your suggestions, I'm really enjoying the music and the variaty, this thread is the gift that keeps giving! Hats off to you all.
I was going to post that same track, good taste eh? Leslie West one of the most under-rated guitarists of that era...
Good stuff Roller. I was born in 75 and love music form difernt eras of differnt styles but I'm a very big fan of the 70's. Sadley due to comercialism lots of the great bands from this time would not get a recording deal these days.
No need to rub it in! From the year you were born ..... is there a better song on this thread?
Talking of underated guitarists how about Andrew Latimer of Camel. I'v been looking for this now for ages, thankfully someone has uploaded!
For you sooper Sends shivers down my spine. Leslie owns it here.
One of rock's first 'supergroups' Cream and The White Room... And this is a 'magic' track from The Who... And from a concert I was at in 1973, one of the all-time Floyd favourites... You are a star Soops! This is my currently most played song, but the version from their magnificent Pepperland concert. There is a fantastic version of Fat Old Sun from the same concert.
