Some great acts there, just saw Kasabian in Leicester this week, phenomenal. Massive Attack and Jack White will also be good.

When Jake Bugg released 'Lightning Bolt', he reminded me a little of a modern day Bob Dylan. But then the more he releases the less and less that seems to be the case.

Are Public Service Broadcasting the ones who use lines from films over music samples to create songs?

All of the festivals seem to have all the same acts. I don't see the point.

Glampers, poncey wellies and idiots snorting "legal highs" or taking horse drugs.

    Buncha ****s.

It's all changed since I saw the Poison Girls and Crass at a festival in the good old days.

Now get the **** off my lawn.

Agree with most of the OP's picks. I'd add White Lies and maybe Imagine Dragons to it.

Metallica are a funny choice as a headline act. Very few of the usual Glastonbury crowd will know anything of theirs.
Tulip Mazumbadumba the BBC's correspondent there interviewed this girl today and it went:

"So Alisia, this is your 3rd Glastonbury, what is it that keeps you coming back?"

"erm well it's like erm the vibe and like erm the people and erm like, I dunno just erm like the general like vibe really so erm......like......yeah huhu"

    ****wit.

Do you think they'll have Pixies on the highlights, even for just one song, or will it just be 2 hours solid of the headliners?

They will probably have them on the red button.

Usually the BBC show the headliners on BBC Two, freeing up BBC Three and the red button.

People say to me ,why go to see 22 men kicking a ball around for 90 mins, my answer don't knock it till you try it, Glastonbury is far more than what you see on the TV! Its a city with the worlds best performing arts

The type of people that go to these mainstream festivals now are the exact people that folk went to these festivals to avoid in the first place, its a shame really.

Beacons festival will be great this year, Darkside, Action Bronson and Autobahn, can't beat it.
