A fabulous footballer and a deeply flawed/troubled human being.

In many respects I feel sympathy for him, he clearly cannot help himself and the pressure to perform for club and country has obviously tipped the balance.

What he has done ON the pitch is both reprehensible and inexcusable.

During his four month ban let us just hope that he seeks and gets the appropriate psychiastric help.

What do you do with.a child/adolecent from a gutter/vile um upbbringing?

A..Beat him to death
B..Lock him up
C..Electric Shock treatment
D..Lobotomy

or a more humane because that is EXACTLY what he deperately needs.

Forget how good he is in the pitch, consider his mental health requirement, because you can bet that neither Uruguau or Liverpool will

I said kick him out of football mate not beat him to death etc, give him the help he needs but get him out of the sport where he can influence so many others. If youre asking me to feel sorry for him youve got no chance, he thinks hes above the law like many other footballers. If I bit someone 3 times id be put in jail for assault, hes a very very lucky lad.

He should never EVER play football again, he is taking the piss

I think he needs a lot of help! However he should not play football at this level if he is ever klikely to react in the same way! I think th eban should be a lot longer so he can get the help required.

What will Liverpool do. I believe that they will probably say 'enough is enough.' Rodgers said last year no player or manager is bigger than the club. They can not carry on with the chance of this happening again!
 
I say ban him for muh longer, get the guy the HELP he needs but this ban is way too short. I also think Liverpool will get rid now. In short I think both Surez and Liverpool are screwed.

I think it's embarrassing how the Uruguayans are saying either nothing happened, or it's not a problem, it's all the English media's fault!
I think he should be banned for longer, if not life. I've heard people saying they've seen far more violent elbows with more risk of injury etc, but I don't think this is comparable. You can argue lashing out is a (bad) reaction, but to bite someone, he's clearly thought about that, and if a 10 game ban isn't long enough, I can't see this one making any difference to him.
 
I believe this is the third time he's done it and that he has had counselling before, he obviously has a problem and further investigation into that problem is required to help him, that would take a period of time exceeding four months. I wouldn't want an outright ban but enough time to make sure it doesn't happen again, He's hardly going to starve on footballers wages.

Re morality and starvation, apparently Liverpool will continue to pay his wages during his four month ban, equates to approx £3 million. Hmmmmm
