I just watched a programme about him on sky sports 1, it was about being one of the greatest players of all time, Looking at the goals he scored as well, I also reckon that we should've asked for more money for him, the 80 million seems like a bargain now as well.

I think he has improved since going to Madrid, he was still only 24 when he left us, he hadn't quite reached his peak

He was the best player in the league when he left the premiership, and then got better at RM. So, yes, he's got better. I doubt anyone will disagree.
Definitely an all time great. Definitely improved since leaving United, by a lot. He would have improved at United too had he stayed as Ronaldo's rise is down to one person, Ronaldo, he's got a level of commitment that would put a lot of other players to shame so a pity it never rubbed off on Rooney, just the way it goes.

That's a false comparison, he plays a different game at Madrid. He also has more quality along side him, he had the likes of Ozil and Alonso behind him in what you have repeatedly said is a league full of dross bar a couple of teams.

I think he has got better at Madrid but was an absolute beast at United too. I'm with Sisu on this, he's got better and better because of his dedication because he was certainly not an outstanding teenager like Messi or Robben were.
