I just watched a programme about him on sky sports 1, it was about being one of the greatest players of all time, Looking at the goals he scored as well, I also reckon that we should've asked for more money for him, the 80 million seems like a bargain now as well.

Definitely yes. madrid would have paid £100m for him and they would still have gained. Mind you all the extra would have gone into the greedy Gs' pockets anyway. So NO f**king difference to the team!

And in answer to your question, of course he has improved as he got older and more experience. He became no World No 1 or 2 at Madrid!

I think he has improved since going to Madrid, he was still only 24 when he left us, he hadn't quite reached his peak

We should've asked for 150 million from them.

He was the best player in the league when he left the premiership, and then got better at RM. So, yes, he's got better. I doubt anyone will disagree.

Definitely an all time great. Definitely improved since leaving United, by a lot. He would have improved at United too had he stayed as Ronaldo's rise is down to one person, Ronaldo, he's got a level of commitment that would put a lot of other players to shame so a pity it never rubbed off on Rooney, just the way it goes.

Be interesting to see how both Messi and Ronaldo get on when their legs go, Henry was **** when his legs went

He was better at United as a footballer.

hes a better goalscorer at Madrid.

Our ronaldo was both a goal machine and a stupidly talented footballer who took his man on and was brilliant to watch.

The amount of **** you talk is amazing.

Explain how hes better without mentioning goals once. Good luck <ok>

That's a false comparison, he plays a different game at Madrid. He also has more quality along side him, he had the likes of Ozil and Alonso behind him in what you have repeatedly said is a league full of dross bar a couple of teams.

he's just a better player no matter how you try wrangle the incorrect point you make about him being better at something while he was at United. He's improved in every way since leaving United because he was always going to improve whether he stayed or went.

goals win games you idiot. hes got more goals at madrid than he has appearances. hes better at real than he was at united - phackt
UIR said Messi would be just some player in a few years, 2 years ago, he also guaranteed Ronaldo was coming back to United last season.

Stuff just comes out, he has no control over it

I think he's pretty much the same. At Madrid, the focus is on him to score as is shown in his record (252 in 246 apps, ****ing wow) and has been playing against easier opposition. At United he was sharing with Tevez and Rooney.

I think he has got better at Madrid but was an absolute beast at United too. I'm with Sisu on this, he's got better and better because of his dedication because he was certainly not an outstanding teenager like Messi or Robben were.

He's won world player of the year whilst at Madrid which in itself is the clearest indication of his progress, plus his astonishing goal records.

Not sure it was a 'bargain' though as it was a world record transfer at the time, and by some distance. He's certainly justified the fee though.

Tad ironic isn't it?

Something else alright

Feel the need to open your trap do you? coming on our board to be angry and abusive, waving your little plastic flag, not enough for you, you need to bring your chav baggage on here too.

I made a post on topic, UIR insulted me, for no reason, and well it went from there. Then you stick your plastic neck out. I can't help you with your anger problems drogs.

I'll await the joint efforts of you and UIR and maybe even Tobes now in "owning me"

He won WPOTY at United too didn't he?
