Help me out please - what qualifies that numpty to be head honcho at the FA ?. I haven`t heard anything sensible from him, and nothing which suggests he knows anything about football. If I was an England fan, I don`t think he`d give me any confidence in terms of his leadership, or in terms of a vision for progress in the future.

I wish I could.

It's not what you know, it's who you know.

He talks the talk. The duds at the FA swallowed it. Simple.

I can be full of ****; think I might start networking in FA circles; see if I can get a job :)

There's a little circle of people who seem to rotate these jobs between them. Like Adam Crozier, who went from the FA to Royal Mail then to ITV. It's a real old boys club.
