I said it in an earlier post and I'll say it again,England could have just as easily been top of their group with maximum points as be bottom with no points such are the fine margins of football
Balotelli got frustrated, his head went down and he barely moved for the last 20mins - a bit worrying really. Not sure England will beat Costa Rica, they made Italy look average by not giving them any space, they got it tactically spot on. I imagine they'll do something similar with England - keep Rooney & Gerrard out of the game.
That's the part of his game that worries me really. If things aren't going his way then he can become isolated very quickly. He's the type of player that needs balls fed into him and for the team to do the hard work around him. If he came to Arsenal he would have those types of players around him, but I'd like to see him working a bit harder to win the ball back, make space for other players and link up with forward players around him, like Giroud does and like Mandzukic does at Bayern.
Great goal but Iran were robbed here. Should have had a penalty. Still not convinced by Argentina. A team with a good balance should easily take them
Messi proving the doubters wrong. He's won two games now for Argentina already. 40 international goals and he's like what 25-26?
Not been convinced by either of the two hot favourites (Brazil/Argentina). The Cup is coming to Europe.
How come Germany can play Ozil & Goetze and it doesn't destroy Ozil's confidence, yet buying Fabregas would apparently kill Ozil?
Germany and Ghana to advance IMO USA 1-2 Portugal Ghana 2-1 Portugal USA 1-3 Germany Germany 7 Ghana 4 USA 3 Portugal 3
Ronaldo equalled Muller's world cup goalscoring record in 2006 in Germany. Klose has equalled Ronaldo's record in 2014, in Brazil.
