What a ****ing hoot. Chased out of Bayern for being a contentious dick and now The Doppelgangers are looking to boost his bank account.

That'll be on top of the £1.6m 'loan' he took from them and never paid back?

Actually , if Nerlinger comes in and sets up a scouting network then that's a good thing . It can't be said he wasn't successful at Bayern .

The usual questions about finance still apply but compared to recent appointments his wouldn't be the worst .

Plus he's only 41 so McCoist is likely to give him a game . He certainly owes us a few games the **** .

    This is ****ing insane <laugh>

You should be getting rid of people, including players on high wages, not bringing in ex-players to earn a nice wee sum of money.

Well that would be the usual questions about finance I mentioned , wouldn't it ?

Rangers need a decent scouting system . That is imperative . Right now they have got zilch in place . Do you think they are going to get someone to set that up and pay them with smarties ?

So you're talking ****e as usual . Try taking your green goggles off ya fud .

Don't have money but employ someone on big bucks to oversee a scouting system you can't afford. Otherwise known as The Rangers Business Model, circa. 1995.

He's not a Chief Scout, he'd be the director of Football <laugh>

Aye that's just what The Rangers need right now, another big salary.

Look stoopit . Nerlinger isn't employed at Rangers yet so I was talking in hypotheticals . If , that's if Rangers can set up a decent scouting system then that can only be a good thing .

That what I said in my original post . The one you described as insane .

Yet when they signed Miller you were slagging off their scouting methods claiming it was whoever Ally had in his phonebook .

So what's the best way forward , McCoists black book or a quality scouting network ?

And there's no need to point out the current boards financial mismanagement ro me . I have been their biggest critic in here .

Who else would "Set up a scouting system" if not the Chief Scout?

I would think a director of football would have a say on the setting up of a scouting system where none currently exists . After all , it is footballers they will be trying to scout .

It would be cheaper to simply hire a head scout, even Celtic don't as far as I know have a Director of Football and yet we have a fantastic Scouting System. Rangers have got this completely arse about tit again, an absolute waste of cash. Hire a Chief Scout, it can't be that hard surely?
