Is that the best you can do, the man provides stats showing that Giroud is ****, and you ignore it.

Those stats do nothing of the sort.

He scored 22 goals for Arsenal last season and played really well tonight, scoring one and providing an assist for another.

The only reason this issue has been raised is because you ****s consistently want to slag him off

What you're also failing to see is that Van Persie scored his goals with Song and crap Ramsey supplying him, Giroud has Ozil, Cazorla and good Ramsey, and is still poor. His chance conversion percentage is a joke etc.

I can only remember one Arsenal fan on here ever claiming Giroud is good enough for us to win the league with. Calling him **** and lamppost is clearly ridiculous though

Can't knock him as a player though. He scored two brilliant goals last night and as painful as it was to watch, you have to give him credit.

The second one last night reminded me of Maradona in the infamous 'Hand of God' game. Different type of goal, but the sheer brilliance of our nemesis came back to haunt us.

Anyway. If you want to go and make an 'I hate Giroud' thread, be my guest. But as mentioned this is the World Cup thread, so please don't be offended if your constant bitching gets deleted <ok>

Campbell did quite well but Balotelli was getting frustrated and started being a little petulant.

I thought Hart could have done better with that. But in real time, the shot was past him before he knew it.

It was difficult to believe it was the same team that beat England

    England only batter Jamaica.

Nothing to lose in that game, might as well let Shaw, Barkley, Ox start

I'd like to see Ox get some game time. I thought Woy should have brought him on against Uruguay. I guess the lads will play without any pressure now and at least try to come home with some pride in tact. Also Costa Rica are though and may ease off a bit.
