Its a slow friday. Got nothing to do so ive been playing football manger a lot.

Ive been lured into a false sense that I know a lot about players who ive never seen in real life just because Ive won the champions league 5 times in a row with Hartlepool.

E.g. I signed yoane Cabaye, the french midfielder the mags have just signed. Hes quality on the game but no clue in real life.

Just wondering if anyone else plays Footy Manager and has the same experience.

I used to play Championship Manager a lot, but i have never really been into the newer ones, probably because i used to play it with my brother for hours, he was Inter I was Barca, but since going our seperate ways and my sons dislike football, its boring as hell playing it on your todd.

Always hated it. My attention span was never that great.
Yet at 56 I love computer games.
Even racing games are boring me lately, I want to drive fast around places and kill pedestrians.
Not spend 3 hours tuning up the car and giving it a paint job.

Got The Chronicles of Riddick, Lara Croft and Need for Speed Shift, on this computer at the moment.

Any body remember Sensible Soccer where you could play as oranges? :)

Sensible Soccer on the Amiga is my favourite game of all time, must have wasted 3 years of my life playing that back in the day.

Remember i got the England Job, 18 years into the 20 year career, got to the world cup final beating everyone 10-20 nil. Scotland in the final, thought easy, I had 50 shots on target they had 1 and beat me 1-0, jim leighton i think was the keeper, i was well gutted lol.
