Best of luck to him. As a Leeds supporter I'll support him till the point of him becoming a failure which hopefully won't happen
What a pair that is "good luck lads" Lets hope Hockaday is as successful in his new job as he was in his last
Wow 2 year deal but he will be ok cos he is bringing Junior whatshisname with him whos player coach at the mighty Hendon, prehaps he will get a game or 3
Couldn't agree more. The guy's gotta be given a chance. The records of the "established" names we've had are nowt to shout about.
Might refresh a few memories of exactly where we are heres where you are just need a paddle please log in to view this image
Hold on a minute - probably the best you could get for the money, so hats off to Maximus Taxus Evadus
So we've a coach with a point to to prove. Lets see how he does. Cheer up lads, Bates and gfh obviously still affecting many it seems
Still don't get any fellow Leeds fans glossing over this sh*t, this is fkin laughable. There's a reason why Junior is (sorry, was) at Hendon and a reason Hockaday has been out of work for 8 months after working at Forest Green for 4 years, barely keeping them up. Other fans are taking the p*ss are rightly fkin so.
Different job. Look at it this way, at FGR Hockaday was like a flight attendant being asked to do the pilot's job and what happened ? The plane crashed. Now at Leeds he's simply being asked to do the job he's good at, being a damn good flight attendant. In other words he makes the tea and sweeps up afterwards.
Morning shaks. Chin up, whats worst that can happen, we might end up crap. Wouldn't that make a change
Well Bates appointed Wise & Poyet - Had to pay Swindon compensation (Swindon were top of the league at the time with 32 points from 15 games) Maccalister - crowd favourite Grayson - Again had to pay compensation for his services - probably your 2nd best manager in last 50 years after Clough. Warnock - One of the highest paid managers in the league and proven track record till you lot ****ed up his career. GFH - McDermott (as above)
There's so much clutching at straws its unbearable. Looks whats happened with the last few established managers, blah blah blah. Thats not taking into account they had to work with Bates/GFH and doesn't mean the next one wouldn't work, jeezus.
