Overall a fairly good performance, but it just wasn't our night and we noticeably tired in the latter stages of the match - we needed to make some of those early goal scoring opportunities count when we had fresher legs.

Yep, precisely. When I saw that those two attempts not go in, I thought sadly, again, England was not going to get the 'rub of the green'.
Can only hope they get something going their way soon.

I miss the first few as I'm away in Porto Santo in August. You're welcome to my seats if you want them. I'm off from the 18th Aug until the 1st Sept. We'll discuss it when the fixtures come out.

Right on, well said - based on tonight's performance, with a little bit of line-up tweaking, we should be capable of beating Uruguay and Costa Rica to finish 2nd in our group on 6 points.
