or alternatively am i thinking that cos in reality most captains are matured and only have 3/4 years left anyway... i dunno. batting form seems to go and getting it back seems too hard.
Of course it will, a test match only lasts 5 days. In 5 days time, England will only have played 1 football match and win/lose or draw will still be in the WC
And no mater how you look at it, it's still longer than England cricket. They only play 2 games, so football team will play at least 1 more game.
98-3 at lunch then. Not a great start but Bell is going ok on 41. Need a decent partnership from these two and then Prior to hopefully get 50+ and back in form. We have a long tail with Jordon, Broad & Plunkett all being able to hold a bat as well. Reckon we'll get 370 and then bowl them out for about 250. Their batting isn't great and our bowling department looks good, despite not having a decent spinner.
Michael Vaughan, Ex-England captain on BBC Test Match Special "It's on that knife-edge at the moment. Sri Lanka will be saying they have done OK but the three England players that are out know they did not get unplayable balls. Sri Lanka have bowled well but in the last half an hour with the ball not doing as much it looks like a terrific cricket wicket. It's going to be an absolute beauty to bat on." That's if you're a Sri Lankan Batsman!
