You do know that Roy Rodgers was a famous cowboy (actor), don't you? If not, I can understand why the joke/nickname is lost on you. Hint: this board is for grown-ups, not juveniles. Best stick with the Mouser, Chav, and Gooner sites if you want the kid stuff .
Yeah, most people/things have nicknames, you've obviously heard of "big ears"? That's what we call the Big Cup we got to keep forever in 2005.
Ah! Those were the days, eh, Kate! You're lucky, you're probably one of the few Mousers on your board who can actually remember what it was like for 'Pool to win something.
Weren't you meant to give it back? You haven't won it since and it's been expected in Manchester, London, Munich, Barcelona, Milan and Madrid
I do know who he is, but that was a pretty weak come-back for not knowing who our manager is! Yes, the pure essence of maturity here! If you win three times in a row, or win it for the 5th time total, you get to keep it permanently and they make a new one. Or at least... that used to be the case. Since 2005 I think they changed that rule, so people winning it for 5th time don't get to keep it permanently anymore.
Gerrard is one of thousands of players that haven't won the PL but one of the hundreds that have won the CL.
There's about 18 months worth of posts in this thread where he's called Roy Rodgers you know. Perhaps look them up before commenting...
He has been called that on here for ages. So get off your high horse! (and drink your milk, to keep the cowboy analogy going). According to the advert, you scousers like your milk - or are you only good enough for Accrington Stanley?
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/27782311 Mousers voted 19th (out of 20) by fans, voting for away day grounds.
Should I go with... i.) So we finished ahead of Man Utd in two tables this season? ...or... ii.) Wet Spam love finishing 17th, don't they?
