There'd be a difference in wages and transfer fee, Lescott offers better value.

 

Didn't Lescott come out recently saying he'd take a massive pay cut as well just to play?

Thought you only did that when it was confirmed as BS & my source close to the club has finished his community service now & is no longer based in West Park so the info has dried up.

 

Not bad at all. Not many clubs will be able to boast such quality as their third best cenner back.

 

I'm underwhelmed at the possibility of signing Lescott. He's looked crap whenever I have seen him.

 

Pretty sure he said he would take a 50% pay cut. Which would mean about 45k a week.

 

Players need a good run in the team to get their form and confidence up, he has hardly had that at Man City.

 

Even if it is, from what he was on, that's still quite a drop.


And you do realise that there are people at the club on that and more? Which makes it a very plausible deal.
