Ah! The ever popular Ferrus Oxide GT.Are we including property in this debate? My shack has gone up by twice my earnings in the past year according to figures the other day.
There seems to be a lot of Jealousy/resentment towards how much Venom earns on some of the threads today. If you live in Aberdeen and work in the Oil & Gas industry you will be on a very good salary. Most people i know here that work offshore work two on two off & piss their monthly wage against a wall.
I myself am a level 1 oilfield mechanical technician permanently on shore (so don't receive off-shore rates) and make around 65/70K per annum.
Bought my first 3 bedroom house 15 year ago when i was 21 and have paid it off and since bought 2 buy to let small flats, and i was one of the ones that sat at the back of the class scratching my baws.

Never happened.
I never at any time said my missus spent £2k on shoes.

Nah - had enough at the grade they put me up to, got a ****e report so am going back down to what i was good at
I haven't got a pay rise in 29 months. I was hopeful of being able to justify one this year, but we're about to lose our biggest market because of (Singaporean) law changes and go into unprofitability again, so I'm not sure I can pull it with the board.
