OK.........You have now upset me too frog chorus............What have we in the Chapel done to deserve being burnt down may I ask? We bring our young family along so they become ardent Saints fans. To create articles on a football forum like this. We encourage them to be good little angels and to not go around breaking up grounds and beating up rival fans. We encourage them on the niceties of free speech and the responsibilities that go with that. Then what do they want to do......burn the bloody stand down that helped introduce them to football in the first place.......There has got to be some logic somewhere........<laugh>

I think it's been a long summer break if people get wound up by satire. I took everyone's criticism of it as satire as well. I was about to jokingly ask for instructions on blocking, when I realised some of you meant it. We need our football back!

Hi Beddy. I sit in the Chapel too. It was ironic. We are not the most loved fans in the stadium are we. :bandit:

Yes mate the Irony didn't go over my head....just trying to bring a bit of humour into our currently dull lives...........No we are not the most loved fans. Why, when you read yours and my posts it should bring home what the chapel end is actually for in a way. IE the old decrepids like me that can't afford the more robust end and for my Children and grand children that have been brought along over the years in the family section of the Dell and later at St Mary's to introduce them to professional football. The Northam end have to remember where a lot of them were introduced to Saints. Yes we are quietish.....although around our crowd we are not. The swearing that sometimes comes out of my grandsons mouths is quite atrocious. My cousin who is next to me always laughs at them. He has never heard so many......"sorry Granddad's" in a couple of hours before.......<laugh> He says on average there is one every ten minutes! At the last game of the season the boys swore at something that happened on the field.....the crowd around us are used to there response after they swear. A chorus of "sorry Grandad" went up around us........<laugh> it was hilarious. That is what you do not get in the likes of Northam unfortunately. We have our atmophere too but not so loud or Robust as other stands is all.

Sorry Beddy. I was pretty sure you got the Irony but just in case. :emoticon-0140-rofl:

This post caused quite a fuss didn't it. Certainly wasn't my intention but chalk one up for the chapelites. We can be contoversial after all. <devil>

It is good to debate....to agree, to disagree. It is not wrong to have a different point of view. It is not wrong to voice your thoughts no matter how controversial. That is why we have maintained our free society. I can almost hear the shouts of "but we are not a free society" You cannot do what you like, say what you like or act how you like. That is very true, within a free society there are still rules. If you do not believe you live in a free Society go to China, Iran, Syria or maybe Saudi Arabia. Try exercising the rights you have here to the rights you have over there. End of soap box. <laugh>
