If you're saying we haven't bid for him, you're incredibly delusional...

I heard that it's a £4m bid, if so I can't see it getting any further than Huw Jenkins office waste bin.

Why? George Caulkin of The Times says he rejected a new deal at Swansea, surely Jenkins would want some money?

4m for 29 year old with one year left on his contract isn't a bad offer

Swansea have plenty of money so have no need to let an important player like Ashley Williams go to a direct competitor in the league for such a small amount.

Well if he wants to leave I'd say you'd be better off taking the £4m and reinvesting it

Then again I wouldn't want to sell on of our best players to you either.

Time will tell, I personally hope he ends up here!

I don't think £4m will be enough to interest Jenkins looking up from his word search puzzle book to be honest. Also I can't see why Ash would want to go to Sunderland.. I could understand a move to Arsenal or Liverpool but not Sunderland.

Signing on fee etc, bigger wages etc. He's miles off Liverpool and arsenal class.
