Good spot http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...ams-ready-quit-Swansea-QPR-4million-deal.html "4million deal as part of Liberty exodus" eh? Oh dear, the Swans will not be happy.
Are they actually reporting it or just sitting behind a desk copying stuff from The Sun like they usually do?
Ulloa is utterly utterly ****, check my history and youll see I post that before the Leicester bloke turned up. £4m is a good fee even though we wont get anything back for him but we should get 3-4 years out of him.
That will be the case for all newspaper chatter over the next few months. We will be linked with all and sundry.
Sadly, the 3-4 years we would get out of him would be the ones at the arse end of his career. But it'll be a good signing for our first season back and maybe longer! Of course he's got a few good seasons in him but it would be nicer if he was 26!
You never know with a CB though. Look at Terry, Rio, Carragher, Staam. Just the first four who spring to mind who performed very well and very regularly until at least 34.
Trouble is, they are in the massive minority, for every HH, there's a dozen Johnsons or zamoras who are either injured 90% of the time or their performance drops off a cliff. However that's usually at about 32 so we should be fine with him.
Williams fits the bill as a ball playing centre back IMO and him and Onunha could make an excellent partnership with Dunne, Hughes and Hill as excellent back ups I just hope the club starts buying asap and not repeat the rubbish of last time ... Anton Ferdinand at the last minute must be a warning to all clubs on how not to do gear I am guessing we will buy 10 players ... I hope at least 7 of them are in place bar the signatures well before the season starts in around 12 weeks
