Its the right time to sell, he won't be worth anything soon, he's a good player but my happiness depends on the fee and wages. I'd rather get caulker.
You're not suggesting there are other reasons? Swansea's captain and a very good friend of the manager isn't going to leave for nothing. He'll leave because you're going to throw silly money at them. Keep your wig on lass.
I've heard we upped it to 5m and we were told to do one. That was our final offer though. We're not going to be bullied financially though, we're not worried.
He scored against you last season didn't he? 1 in 2 for a side who have been based on defending for the last 2 years isn't bad. I'd love to have him here but there comes a time when we need to say 'is he worth it' like a professional football club should.
£5m and the big selling point is he scored against us? Get the lad from Barnsley, he stuck 2 past us. £3 and a pie w/gravy should do it
Not at all The selling point was probably the majestic double he put past us. Looked unplayable that day.
Whereas I'd say that he's proved his quality at that level and is worthy of the step up. If it wasn't for his injuries I'd happily go and spend 6/7m tomorrow.
£8m is reputedly Remy's release clause....Ulloa overpriced. Rhodes would prob be £8 - 10m and a far better prospect
There is a lot more to it then transfer fee. What's Remy's wage? 100k? He'll want a signing on fee as well as his agent. Add it all together and you're looking at about 25m Rhodes isn't that good. Yes he's an exceptional finisher but he does **** all else.
