I see that Jackett and Lomas are side to side. Perhaps they could join up and manage Millwall together?
Good morning Matt and friends from a sunny Bardsey Well the inevitable happened he doesn't want a manager he is the manager he wants a coach Carbone the candidate for meZola is much to nice
No self-respecting manager will come here to be told what to do by a chairman. Cellino wants a coach and that's exactly what he'll get: a yes-man who simply takes training and sits in the dugout on match days.
You're right, and on that basis it's going to be Festa. Fits the bill perfectly. Think he's been the choice all along.
Are these odds for real Elland? why would DOL be a better bet than Macarthy? Mind you if we get Grayson I would be chuffed, but imagine DOL coming back who was really a coach not a manager, could it work Whatever happened to him anyway because since Villa he's never been heard of
I'm confused because of the club or country debate ...... who will we support next month Italy or England
Yeah I think it'll be Festa or someone similar. I'd prefer someone like Steve Clarke though, someone who originally made his name as a coach anyway. Probably wouldn't be interested now he's had a taste for managing, but it'd be worth a try.
Comments from owner Massimo Cellino have appeared to cast doubt over the possibility of the former Bradford City and Sheffield Wednesday striker becoming the new United manager. Speaking late last night, Cellino implied that Carbone, despite recently speaking about his ultimate desire to be a manager one day, will be charge of United’s under-21s next season and have responsibility for that and not the first team. Cellino said: “I have always said that Carbone will be in charge of the under-21s next season and that doesn’t change now.”
