Because historically teams that go 3/4 of a season with no clue about who's running the club, owners interfering with team selection and players not getting paid do fine, don't they? We've been relegated before with stronger teams in similar circumstances.

There have been teams (such as yourselves) that have been through much worse than us. Not much more than 10 years ago Man City were in division 3, things can change quickly.

It's common knowledge Ross loved playing for McDermott. In January he basically came out and said he was the reason he wanted to stay. Not saying managerial decisions should be based on players wanting to leave/stay, but just saying Ross is more likely to leave now (and he was likely to leave anyway).
