With Bale officially a Madrid player now having scored winners in two cup finals, and Ledley officially retired having been testimonialised - Is this the summer for a new banner? Ledley to move to the legends section, slight problem is - none of us know who will be here for next season for the current section. Apart from Eriksen, most of our better players are being linked with moves away - Hugo, Jan, Sandro, Paulinho
Hugo has said he'll stay. (probably wouldn't put him on a banner just yet though) what about a time line/collage of great players going from left to right? where the images on the left hand side start with the players from years and years ago in black and white, and gradually comes into colour towards the right? it might b a good way of getting some legends in there, as well as some of the current players.
How about just plain white? At least we wouldn't have to keep changing it unless Levy does a Vincent Tan on our kit
Yeah it would be nice to give it an update but maybe wait until the transfer window's shut or just have a big picture of Chadli and Rose.
I would probably just save time and make the banner for the 15/16 season to include; Rio Ferdinand, Joey Barton, Bendner and Pulis.
We could have a massive punt and only include players we expect to sign this summer. Then we all have to live with how stupid we look for a year.
SD can go ahead and do the design under his old username of ArrysDisciple and create a tribute to Redknapp and Peter Crouch, as in a year's time they will still be mentioned as the last time we qualified for the champions league. I think SD wanted to do a design anyway so if he's up for doing it?
nice thought (the tribute to Harry bit, which I would support). A plan only ruined by my utter incompetence at all things technical.
Tbh is there a current player that is worthy of being on the banner anyway? Players should have to earn their spot on there imo so even if we sign players this window I wouldn't want to see them on the banner until they have contributed to some success. Stick with legends and the badge and Audere Est Facere and you can't go wrong
A tribute to our wonderful chairman perhaps! The man who has kept Spurs in the news and in the black. Just a picture of our new stadium would be good.
