Moyes wouldn't be a bad choice, I don't think. If he had become available last summer, and was interested, I'm sure most people would be happy if he was our manager. Unfortunately, his time at United has really tarnished everyone's opinions of him.
Not mine really. I always thought he is limited in his style of play. A little dated and not forward thinking. Yes, he could 'do a job' for us and we'd be a good side and very difficult to beat, however I have been somewhat spoiled now and want some attacking, free flowing, mobile football rather than a rigid defensive line up.
Made me laugh when Van Persie's national physio or whoever it was described him as a dinosaur in terms of his management style. After all this was the season after Grandad Ferguson retired from managaing the same player.

says in a round about way we are still aiming for european football. ben smith tweeted that we intend to appoint a manager before the world cup. that's a couple of weeks then.
He says we have 4-6 people working on scouting in the office. Was someone hiding and he thought he saw them hiding behind the printer, but just wasn't sure?
I found that encouraging. Interesting that he said we had lost 16 days since the end of the season...shows that they were hoping MP would stay right until the end. However, I'm sure they had already started to collect data on managers in order to be ready to go. I think we are an attractive proposition now...a lot of managers would like to work with our talented lads and top notch facilities in one of the best European leagues. On the attraction scale, Saints are now more Tina McIntyre than Bet Lynch.
Interesting that Paddy Power has River Plate manager Ramon Diaz at 10/1 while no other bookies have given him anything.
Just means someone wanted to bet on him. They add people on request....perhaps Ralph had put money on
