To be fair having watched game on BT sport Hamilton were by far the better team and they would have gave The Rangers a run in the 1st Div, Hibs need to spend some money on some players who actually know where the goal is. If they do The Rangers might struggle to finish 1st.
Hibs will have a new manager by the morning. If you look at rangers results against recent spl opposition then they are bottom 6 team at best. It now looks like they will actually have to trim their squad as well for next season. So all in all there isn't much between hibs, hearts and rangers. Mick any ideas on what the odds will be for 1st division?
Rangers on -25 will be more interested in Dumbarton and Cowdenbeath than Hearts and Hibs , relegation battle rather than promotion battle I predict .
That is why I want to know the odds. Administration looks a certainty going by the poor season ticket sales so there is no way they will win the league.
14,000 season books sold but only roughly a quarter of the cash is actually in hand, even so that has to pay the loan, that's the priority, so unless attendances remain fairly high it will only be a matter of time before Admin II arrives then the baw is on the slates.
Watched Sportscene this morning and have to say the Hibs were awful. I expect Hearts to give Sevco their best challenge next season. If Sevco make next season.
He inherited an utterly ****e team. They've been ****e for years - they only survived last year because they had strangely bald on loan from Wolves. I don't blame Butcher. He needs time to locate a striker, a midfielder who can dictate play and a no-nonsense CB. The fault lies entirely with the Board who have failed to invest, year after year, in the squad. They spent all that money on a new stand and then watched on as it sat half empty because the product on the pitch was utterly ****e.
They were no where near going down until he took over. It is clear the players are not playing for him.
It's still astonishing that the top league will be without Hibs, Hearts and that other team(not sure what their name is this week) We might be a good bet for the league next year
Never thought I'd see the day when Hibs, Hearts and Rangers were all in the 2nd tier of Scottish football. Oh, how the ****ey have fallen.
Sevco are likely to be -25 points at some point. I don't think they are getting out of that league next year.
