Nazi Party

Written by*The Editors of Encyclopædia BritannicaNazi Party,*byname of*National Socialist German Workers’ Party, GermanNationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei (NSDAP),* political party of the mass movement known asNational Socialism. Under the leadership of*Adolf Hitler, the party came to power in*Germany*in 1933 and governed by totalitarian methods until 1945.It was founded as the German Workers’ Party by*Anton Drexler, a Munich locksmith, in 1919. Hitler attended one of its meetings that year, and his energy and oratorical skills soon enabled him to take over the party. He ousted the party’s former leaders in 1920–21 and renamed it the National Socialist German Workers’ Party. In 1920 Hitler also formulated a 25-point program that became the permanent basis for the party. The program called for German abandonment of the Treaty of Versailles and for the expansion of German territory. These appeals for national aggrandizement were accompanied by a strident anti-Semitic rhetoric. The party’s socialist orientation was basically a demagogic gambit designed to attract support from the working class.

Here ye go Sarge . This will make it all clear for you .

Unless you think the Encyclopedia Britannica are lefty morons as well

Yep, as I said it was a con and dafty here is still falling for it, maybe he's just the man to buy those magic beans?

You and Toby aren't quite everybody.

Need to mature a little.

Not only are you unaware of the differing politics of the Nazis and Socialists, you are also blissfully ignorant when it comes to realising that everyone who has commented so far has simply sneered at your utterances. If I have a weakness, it's for tolerance and wasting time trying to explain simple concepts to oafs.

It does show that they where socialists or at least poryrayed themselves as such.

There is one positive about UKIP and that is that they have now blown the BNP completely out of the water. Over the next year they'll get more and more extremist and most people will see them for what they really are.

If UKIP don't grow into it's potential the implications are simple. Revert back to the conservative party and hope that it's next leader is decent.

What's the future like on the left?
