This is a vote for the European Parliament, NOT the generals - their tax policies have nothing to do with the euro votes.
The european parliament only have powers in the following...Animal rights, consumer rights, worker rights, the enviroment, international trade and the economic development.
I agree i don't think their policies are broad enough to be represented in our government, which is why i won't be voting them for that, but, as for the euros..their policies are right up my street.

Considering half my degree is Politics than I should probably be able to right an eloquent response.

However, since my degree ended ive not stayed as in touch with the intricacies of Westminster and this guy has saved me the effort anyway. http://anotherangryvoice.blogspot.co.uk/

For the record I voted Green.

UKIP Have beaten up the Tories in the South especially in Essex, Labour in the North taking 10 council seats from them in Rotherham and taken Lib Dem seats just about everywhere!

This is a clear message that the Traditonal Working Class in this country is just mightily fed up with being ignored especially by labour! The era of 4 party politics in this country has dawned!

If I was Milliband I would be ****ting myself after these elections! Government in waiting? Do me a favour! <laugh>

PS - Question Time was as an absolute disgrace last night.

Labour/ Conservative/ Lib dem reps, plus of course the special guests they got on the " fair discussion show " all ridiculed and did all they possibly could to make the UKIP candidate look as poor as possible. Hilariously enough from my perspective, they failed quite badly.

Also pathetic when David Dimbleby ( w***** ) asked who was in favour of UKIP, and only one person raised his hand to give his viewpoint. I mean, the audience is supposed to be a real reflection of the nations groups - UKIP are smashing all the parties in this election, yet they organised this to simply put one supporter of them in the audience.

Reminded me very much when Nick Griffin went on question time ( that episode holds the record for views of over 7 million ) and he suffered exactly the same treatment. It was revealed the following week that audience members had been handed specific questions to ask !!!

Anyway, despite the embarrassing treatment of the media and press, UKIP are still doing very well and long may it continue.

I honestly can see why people vote for UKIP they tap into peoples genuine concerns (even if they seem to spout Daily Mail headlines) not that I agree with what they say but I don't think they are a racist party although clearly they attract more racists than most due to their policies. The issue I have with the european elections and voting UKIP is that yes I understand what they are about, getting out of europe but I find it hugely irresponsible that their MEPs get paid a shed load of money to basically oppose everything and do nothing with the power they get, you may dislike the EU or want out but if you're given responsibility like they have it's just plain wrong how they behave, it's just pointless and wasting money.

Didn't vote. Never do. Think all of them are lying cheating bastards who will never do anything for the 'real' good of the country as it means no-one would ever vote for them again.
My main problem with UKIP is not that I think they are racist, although they will attract a decent amount of racist due to their policies. My main issue is that Farage acts like the average 12 year old. Its all jeering, name calling and petty stupidity. For example when he called the Belgium MEP mr rumpey pumpey due to his name being something like Rumpold.
I like to think that anyone in a position of power should hopefully be above such childish ****.
