Gave it a 5 because I haven't a clue what's in store for us this season. I'm mightily hacked off with RD for sacking JR, but Bob Peeters is an unknown quantity, as is our playing staff next season.

Riga wasn't really sacked though was he?

When he signed up surely no-one expected him to still be here at the start of next season (regardless of what league we were in)?

It has been a total shambles though the way he has been let go; but the end outcome shouldn't really be a surprise.

Not a complete surprise, no, but a great disappointment. I liked the way he came in to a difficult situation in a foreign country, bottom of the league, local hero manager just been sacked, and just got on with the job in hand. No complaints, no excuses, just got on with the business of getting the best out of the players at his disposal, which he did very effectively. And he wanted to stay, too, so a great disappointment.

    Agree FHB.

Didn't like the way it was done, either. The whole episode has lacked what I call the "old English way of doing things" ie with a bit of class.

No statement of thanks to Jose Riga on the O/S.

I have e mailed Ben Kensell at the club to tell him it stinks.

I have also sent an e mail to Katrien Meire telling her to raise her game* after what has happened in the last 3 days.

*I have put it a bit more bluntly than that.

I thought about sending an email to Ben Kensell outlining the reasons why I will not be renewing my season ticket but thought I would just be wasting my time.

The continued desperation of inflating gate sizes with free tickets and discounted tickets...indeed, stooping to £150 adult ST tickets at a guess <ok>

How do you survive on 6,000 Millwall fans coming through the turnstiles then? Free MENSA membership with every Millwall season ticket <ok>

It just shows that championship football isn't financially viable for anyone! The only clubs that seemed to run on any sensible budget have been relegated in the last 2 seasons

God knows how much wolves lost last year.
