Think the 3 year contract reflects the fact he was on a free. He looks a finisher, might struggle if we bounce back up but regular goals in La liga should be good enough for the Championship.

Truth is any striker is a gamble the level we are at but at least this guy has scored goals in his career at a high level in a poor(ish) side. 15 in 37 for a side that was relegated sounds pretty reasonable to me <ok>

From what we have seen of those 2 Steve, it wouldn't take much. As ever time will tell.

Grabban should be back from his hols soon so we will find out if it is us, Boro or Palarse.

Speaking of the Stripey Nigels I see that Pulis is a favourite to take over at Newcastle should Pardew get the push. Budget not big enough to make the improvements he wants, maybe?
 
The Fat Sam experience should make Pulis question the Newcastle job imo but the job he did at Palace was miraculous! Would a load of internationals want to be told to run their bollocks off weekly whilst the fans get to appreciate 30% possession for the home side.

Feel a bit sorry for Pardew can't help but feel he's a victim of his own success.

I don't follow any of that sort of gossip, hate the tabloids. As long as it's not my Mrs, then who's ****ing who really doesn't interest me <ok>

Morally I have an issue with it but if you spend your life judging everyone based on hearsay there wouldn't be much time left for anything else!

We need not bother ourselves anymore with PL managers etc; we need to now concentrate now on the likes of Eddie Howe, Ian Holloway & Stuart Pearce.<doh>
