Anyone else see that Ruby Walsh is to rideLong Run over in France on Sunday (I think it is) As amateurs are not permitted to ride in the race. This is the 1st time we will see him ridden by someone else than SWC. Altho the horse has lost his way slightly surely with Ruby on board and the master he is he will be able to get him back somewhere nr his old form as you can't help think had he been ridden by someone else than SWC he would have won more G1 races

I love the horse and am gutted about his downfall as I thort after his 1st gold cup win hwere we are we have a multiple gold cup winner! I like him as a jockey and he seems a really nice guy, but compared to ruby or AP I'm saying they may have been able to pick him up that little more!

woolcombe - seems you and stick have an admirer <laugh>

What's his beef?

He is right about one thing.....the horse is a dog LOL.......but the info that came from the yard this season paid for the dog ten times over!
Interesting user name as Gary Broom was garydoescheltenham on the old 606. He texts me most days swapping tips so I would bet that this trouble maker would like us to think its him!

Well to be honest Ron I came within a gnats knob of ditching her for a horse that AXOM have just syndicated called THE BROCK AGAIN. I was just too slow reacting and it is sold out now. Present Trend is a lovely mare but I really cannot see her winning off the mark the handicapper has given her. She isn't a dog but she surely wont be winning until she goes chasing and that is some way down the line!

That is a pity stick. She did look to need a bit of time but as you say she is a nice mare. And they made a big mistake running one good race that ****ed up her handicap. I'll still be looking out for her even if you do decide not to proceed.
