We are a bit unorganised Gents. We need to get ourselvees organised.
Things to discuss'
1. Make sure we all have tickets, if not, who can we help.
2. Travel plans/hotels etc.
3. Pubs for a pre match pint and a bit of grub.
I'll start;
Match Tickets
Most people I know are being helped to obtain their tickets. If anybody needs help, let us know here and we'll see what we can do.
Flights/Hotels
As usual, we are all travelling to different airports. Some to Luton, some to Stansted, some to Gatwick and some to Heathrow. Heathrow is the best but most expensive. Then again, at this short notice, they are ALL expensive now. For advice on hotels, I would say stay away from the Wembley area and Central London as the prices are already sky high. I would recommend looking at airport hotels as close as possible to your departure airport. If using Gatwick, Croydon for example is quite reasonable for hotel and close to the airport. I am doing a day trip via Luton. Others I know are doing day trips via Gatwick and some via Stansted.
Pubs
We have a few feelers out for pubs. Somebody has recommended the Green Pub in Willesden Green. They say it is family oriented and does decent grub and is a 7 minute tube ride to Wembley Park on the Jubilee line. They have offered to contact the pub to make sure we will not have to share with Derby fans. We won't know till Monday if that pub is available. If not, we have a back up pub organised in Kingsbury which we know will be entirely QPR fans only.
Please discuss lads & lassies.
