Local people benefit (at a time sports facilities are being run down) and encourages those same people to feel a link with the club.
I buy my two raffle tickets every week and don't even bother to see if I've won. In this corrupt, greedy, money grabbing, self interested, soulless, post Thatcher world it is important to try and maintain a modicum of humanity.

If I heard any numbers I wouldn't know if they were my tickets as I can't even read them they are so bloody small.
